近年は、銭湯をモチーフにして人のつながりを描いている。

　銭湯は町の文化だ。

　個別に所有するのではなく、皆で大きく所有する。

　公と私、今と昔、日常と非日常が交差する磁場。

　生活の中の遊びの空間。

　皆丸裸で本当の姿をさらしている。

　お湯に浸され、湯けむりに取り巻かれ、ゆるやかにつながっている。

　個々の思惑を超えた有機生命体の様だ。

　根源とつながり、血が通っているからこその肌の色の瞬き。

　誰もが等しく、老いるという運命のもとでの共感や連帯を表現したい。

   I've painted people in the public bath for years.

   The public bath is an urban culture.

   People share the big bath.

   It's a field crossed public and private,now and past,daily and special.

   It's a play field in usual life.

   People are all naked there.

   There are only hot water and steam among us.

   We look connected each other.

   We look like one organism.

   Our skin is brilliant.

   Because blood is running under the skin.

   Because we are connected with Nature.

   We all share the destiny of getting old and death.

   I'd like to express my sympathize with people and our sense of solidarity.
